See what we've been up to...

Recently, as part of our topic on the Romans, we visited the Verulamium museum in St Albans. We had a fantastic day. We were able to touch genuine Roman artefacts, dress up in costumes and show off all that we have learned in class. We even learned some new facts too. We really enjoyed ouselves.


We made shields and weapons in the style of the Romans and battled Oak Class, who were studying the historic period Stone Age through to Iron Age . The Romans inevitably won the battle. Never mind year 3, your time will come next year.


We have been doing yoga in PE with Miss Donoghue. We even did yoga on Children in Need day! It was great fun and we challenged ourselves with different moves. Marcus, the Essex PE corodinator, also visited us and showed us some great games to practise while learning sportshall athletics. See the photos below:
