Celebrating COPS' 50th Birthday!

Chipping Ongar Primary School celebrates its 50th birthday this year and so we are dedicating the Summer Term to our celebrations, in particular for the Summer Fete when we will be inviting staff from the past to join us for Afternoon Tea.

We will also be holding events all through the term and we will keep udating the website with different events as they happen!

The 50th birthday is, to be accurate, the birthday of KS2 building; the KS1 building being added later when the Infant School was closed and Sainsbury’s built on the site. The little grey blazer and cap we have in the atrium with our crest is from the Infant School – the Junior School having no uniform at all at that time!

This video was shot using a drone over the school fields by Roy Strutt Photography.
